A&C started in carpentry and construction, and that's still what sits behind every renovation we take on. Because the carpentry and the building work are handled by the same team, the detail doesn't get lost between trades.
Carpentry capabilities
These are the skills we bring to renovation and construction projects. We take them on as part of larger renovation, extension and construction work rather than as standalone small repairs.
First fix carpentry
Structural timber work behind the walls — studwork, joists, roof timbers, floor structures and door linings.
Second fix carpentry
The finish work once plastering is done: doors, architrave, skirting, stairs and fitted joinery.
Kitchens

How it fits together
Part of a bigger renovation, not a list of separate jobs
On a renovation, the carpentry, the building work and the other trades all depend on each other. First fix has to be right before the plasterer arrives. The kitchen fit depends on the electrics and plumbing being where they should be.
Keeping the construction and carpentry in one team — and coordinating the rest — is what keeps a project moving.
